Angola receives last convoy of former refugees

Ninety former Angolan refugee families, comprising 334 people, from Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) arrived Thursday in Angola, under the ongoing voluntary and organised repatriation process.
The Angolan citizens came from Low Congo region and Kinshasa, the capital city of DRC.
The former refugees were escorted to sheltering centre of Kinzau, in Mbanza Congo, northern Zaire province.
With the return of this convoy, the number of ex-refugees, under way since November, rose to 1,445, said the chief of Social Welfare Department, Luís Cumba Mavambu.
